Newlands Forest is a leafy green conservancy area found on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, next to the suburb of Newlands in Cape Town. The forest is an excellent spot for hiking, picnics and braais.
Newlands Forest features a variety of mountain trails from easy to moderate, and many of the interlinking paths are ideal for more casual walkers. The forest includes stream-side picnic spots and designated braai areas.
