We support the preservation of Cape Town’s unique and biodiverse natural heritage through education, training and conservation initiatives.
CTEET has two main focuses being: i) the conducting high quality, low cost outdoor education programmes designed to challenge and change the lives of youth and ii) to support the City of Cape Towns Biodiversity Network through the provision of expertise for the management of public and private conservation areas. Our Vision: To make the Cape Town Environmental Education Trust a leading force in environmental education in South Africa. To galvanise local communities, corporate companies, friends groups, developers and private individuals to take responsibility for their environment through the Nature Care Fund. To care for the City of Cape Town’s Biodiversity Network through the Nature Care Fund. To establish and support environmental educational programme in local reserves in the City of Cape Town.
