Gaia Waldorf School is a young, innovative Waldorf School situated on the urban farmlands of the Oude Molen Eco Village in Pinelands. The school was started in 1998 to meet the popular demand for Waldorf education in the area and now includes a playgroup, two kindergartens and a primary school.

The Save Our Seas Shark Education Centre overlooks the ocean on the doorstep of the Dalebrook Marine Protected Area. The Centre focuses mostly on shark diversity, anatomy, habitats and their role in the ocean. There is also a strong emphasis on the unique and special marine ecosystem found in and around False Bay.

The Cape Peninsula Baboon Research Unit is a collection of scientists focusing their research on baboons of the Cape Peninsula and surrounding areas. This research encompasses various aspects of baboon biology, including ecology, behaviour, genetics and evolution.
The Rhodes Memorial in Cape Town is a monument to Cecil John Rhodes, built in 1912. The memorial stands on the slopes of Devil's Peak, on the northern side of Table Mountain.

The Iziko Bo-Kaap Museum (IBKM) is located in one of the earliest homes built in the Bo-Kaap area, and showcases local Islamic culture and heritage. The house was declared a National Monument in 1965 and restored in the 1970s.
