Biodiversity Expo 2010

Thursday, March 25, 2010 09:00 - Sunday, March 28, 2010 16:00

The Biodiversity Expo is a "one stop information shop" for all information related to Biodiversity Conservation. A wide range of organisations will be exhibiting the conservation work they do and fielding your questions.

There will be art displays, music, audiovisual media and plenty more. As a bonus, you will be at the Kirstenbosch Garden where you can go and relax as well. There will be live animals, strange plants and passionate people.

We have designed the Expo so that anyone who experiences the Expo should be able to find out what Biodiversity is, why it is important, what career opportunities there are to become involved, what volunteering opportunities there are to be become involved and to leave with the tools necessary for you to become a environmental hero for South Africa.

By having both the conservation organizations that employ conservationists and having the tertiary institutions that provide the skills for them to be employed, a prospective conservationist can walk into the Expo and plan an entire career, no matter where they are in their life. The Expo provides various options for you to choose to become an environmental hero for South Africa.
