An exhibition dedicated to Heathwerwick’s architectural vision for Zeitz Museum of Contemporary African Art.

As you probably know, Thomas Heatherwick has been selected as the lead architect for Zeitz Museum of Contemporary African Art (MOCAA).

Mitchells Plain public transport interchange (PTI) is the first to be dressed in Transport for Cape Town’s new way-finding signage.

The construction of the new MyCiTi bus station just off Third Avenue in the central business district forms part of the N2 Express project which will see the extension of the MyCiTi service to Mitchells Plain and Khayelitsha.

Thula Baba Box

Designed to improve lives of babies and mothers, The Thula Baby Box doubles as a cot and contains basic baby products that may help to reduce infant and maternal deaths.

Two South African fathers, Ernst Hertzog and Frans de Villiers, have based the Thula Baba Box on a 1938 initiative that saw the Finnish government supplying expectant mothers with a box containing clothes, sheets and toys.

The City of Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee Member for Community Services and Special Projects, Alderman Belinda Walker, officially opened the newly upgraded Thibault Park in Brackenfell on Thursday10 April 2014. More than a dozen eager children could barely wait to try out the new play equipment during the event, which coincided with a tree-planting ceremony.
